Unconfined proof of concept app for location spoofing.
It works by restarting the location manager service in "dummy" mode, used mainly for debugging.

Absolute crap and pure fantasy. Google maps picked up my location immediately. Caesar thumbs down.

Couldn't get it to work on Nexus 5, but respect the idea. Other people gad a better experience, so it was lankly an exception.
