About tedit

A useful notes text editor for Ubuntu Touch. Write down things in simple text format.

Some additional features are:

- calculating hash values
- encrypting of notes
- creating of QR codes
- importing of websites as simple text

Originally based on the App "edit" by Paweł Stroka (not released to OpenStore) and brought to OpenStore by fulvio. This is the second fork of fulvio's app version to keep the app maintained and available for users.

In case you wish to sync your files with another app, tedit files are stored in the apps `~/.local/share` folder. This should be `/home/phablet/.local/share/tedit.danfro`.

Note: Importing files via content hub does create a copy in tedit's working folder. The original file will remain untouched.

- added: share option, you can now share notes to other apps
- added: option to use subfolders for your notes for better organizing them
- improved: some spelling corrected and translators comments
- improved: button in hash page now uses full width to allow longer strings to be fully readable
- improved: file list page is not opened when a file is received via content hub
- updated: translations, many thanks to all translators!
