About Pure Maps Slim

Offline mapping is possible by installing OSM Scout Server https://open-store.io/app/osmscout-server.jonnius.

Pure Maps is a full-featured map and navigation application allowing you to explore maps, search for addresses and points of interest, as well as assist with navigation. For that, it uses either offline OSM Scout Server or online service providers.

The Slim version does only include PicoTTS for voice output, resulting in approx. 90% smaller size. If you prefer high quality voice (English only), install the Full version instead: https://open-store.io/app/pure-maps.jonius

Note: Online maps users are requested to register their own Mapbox GL / HERE key (depending on which one you use) and enter it through the preferences of the application. This will allow us to use default key for application testing and provide the service without hitting free tier limits. Note that without significant number of users moving to the personal keys, Mapbox key will be revoked and the users of Mapbox tiles will not be able to access it.

Note: If sound output is too low use https://open-store.io/app/uvolman.mateosalta to adjust alert volume.
Note: The snap-to-road-feature is currently not available in this package.

Parallel-installed pure maps slim has the same wrong voice navigation (spelled file-headers instead of navigation commands) as in Pure Maps full installation. Unusable for me in the moment. pixel 3axl, Noble daily.
