About MiTubo

MiTubo is a native client for playback of internet video streams. It supports playing videos from YouTube and other popular platforms.
It uses youtube-dl for obtaining the paths to the video resources, and for playback it uses the GStreamer audio and video codecs provided by the platform. This means that the sites and formats supported depend on what is supported by these two components.

Important: MiTubo requires OTA-18 or later.

UPDATE: The application developer fixed some of my man issues with this application. Playback is smooth at 720p. Search was fixed too, (still uses. Yandex by default but YT search works). Overall, this is now the best YouTube app on UT. Old Review: Requires RSS feed for subscriptions. Uses Yandex for searches by default. struggle on 720p, requiring you to use 360p. Video player looks dated. It gets the job done, but it needs some improvement.
