About Gallery

Gallery app will keep all of your photos, screenshots and videos in one place. There you can view them by Album (create as many as you want), by Event (a rather odd name for a calendar layout that lets you scroll back to everything added on 23 June - if that is what you want to do) or simply in a Photos heading, which shows everything, in sequence. In Photos view you can also see and play your videos. Since there is no Videos view that is just as well...

In any of these views, there is a Camera icon which will open your camera directly so that you can create and add more content.

Edit capability is not vast but you can crop images using adjustable horizontal and vertical lines, so you can centre the crop anywhere you want. Rotation in 90 degree steps is also available. If you don't like the edit, you can undo right back to the original in one step.

Sharing is simple. Click on the universally used share symbol and you can send via SMS, messenger app or email. Less intuitively, you will also be given an option to save the media to any chosen folder using FileManager. This may sometimes be useful, provided you remember the link is there.

At present there is no mechanism for hiding media files and the edit functions are not available for video.

Brilliant, use it daily. Would be nice to select default view to Photos view instead of Events view.
