About CitySim
Welcome to CitySim!
As the new mayor of CitySim, you get to plan the layout of your new city! Manage housing projects, build fire departments, increase income and exports, and watch your population grow! With five scenarios and a free play mode, you can enjoy a modern version of the classic city simulation building games. Watch out though! Every now and then a disaster might strike your fair city!
Earn badges and UBcoins while you watch your population grow! Tackle hurdles like pollution and traffic, fend off crime waves and forest fires. Survive earthquakes and volcanos, build baseball stadiums, bulldoze trees, and put in parks. It's all up to you as the mayor! But be careful, if your residents get too unhappy, or the city goes too far into debt, you'll get voted out of office!

Speaking of tutorials, be sure to check out the in game tutorial, but here's a *very* brief synopsis:
Every city needs power and water, but one plant can only create so much! Roads not only connect your city, but have conduits in them for electricity and pipes for water to supply them to the buildings that need them. Start small, start slow, commercial buildings make the most money, industrial complexes produce the most goods for exports, and residential areas grow your population. Listen to your assistants to know what is preventing your city from upgrading to higher levels, but remember, you don't have to build everything at once!
It has been such a pleasure to bring this game back into circulation. Originally created by Zubozrout for Ubuntu Touch as a demo of what was possible, it is now a full fledged game that I hope you will enjoy! The theme throughout this game is "relaxing", from the choice of music to the style of game play and user interface. However, for those who wish for a more "upbeat" game, there is a Disastermania scenario for lots more active disasters!
